However, among the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), it is often considered to be the most difficult one to acquire. This paper mainly analyzes the comprehensive factors that affect Chinese high school students’ English listening ability, and provides relevant solutions to help the students to remove the listening comprehension obstacles and raise listening level respectively from the students’ perspective and the teachers’ perspective.
