* Cloze Exercises No pains,no gains. （一）考查能力 完形填空题是高考英语卷中的重要题型。《考试大纲》对完形填空的考查要求是“突破语篇，强调应用，注重交际”，即在侧重考查学生的逻辑思维能力和对具体语境的把握能力的基础上，更是对学生整体语篇意义理解的连贯性和运用语言的准确性进行全面考查。总之，完形填空是一种综合测试，涉及的知识面很广，是用来测试考生的阅读理解能力和综合应用语言的能力。具体地说完形填空考查的能力有：①词语辨析能力；②语法结构分析能力；③语篇理解能力；④逻辑推理能力；⑤写作意图剖析能力；⑥文化背景和生活常识综合运用能力。 （二）题型特点 1.体裁和题材 高考完形填空体裁主要是记叙文、说明文、议论文和夹叙夹议文。而大多是选择夹叙夹议的议论文或有一定故事情节和相对完整的故事片断的记叙文。250词左右，首句不挖空。题材大都富有教育意义，能给考生以启迪，类似人生感悟的心灵鸡汤的小短文，语言地道，文笔优美。 2.考点设置 完形填空设题完全不同于单项填空，以篇章语 义为主，所设4个选项从语法角度考虑都正确。错误项只能通过语义、语境、常识、逻辑和搭配来排除。因而，高考完形填空设点以实词为主，其中最多是动词和名词，其次是形容词和副词，再次是连词和介词。因此在备考中要特别注意这几种词性中常见词的词义比较，同时注意在语篇中得体地运用词汇。 1. 完形填空的解题步骤 把握整体 具体分析 跳过空格，通读全文， 把握大意 结合选项，综合考虑，初定答案 瞻前顾后，先易后难， 个个击破 再读全文，反复检查 高考完形 填空考什么？ 词汇题 句际关系 篇章结构 词汇题 1.1原词复现 Para.2One day，Mother realized Jane was unhappy and even __24__ to her，so she decided to go__25__ with Jane to make Jane happy.
