It’s a national strategic structure showing us which directions China is going. More detailed plans (could be considered as implementing regulations) will be released soon. It’s said that there are more than 10 different ones related with energy. We will keep a close following. Japan’s nuclear accident also froze Chinese nuclear power development now. How long will it take? How serious will it impact nuclear industry in China? There are many guesses. China needs 15% of energy consumption from non fossil by 2020, that’s for sure. Let’s see whether there will be a new distribution of the pie.
