A referral packet is prepared, signed by a parent and sent to GSHS The Alternative Review Team (ART) reviews the information and makes recommendation for admission Reasons for Referral High School: Credit deficient A number of minor behavioral infractions Poor attendance patterns Middle School: Students who have repeated the same grade at least twice Regional Safe Schools Program (RSSP): Expulsion hearing Intermediate hearing Alternative Education Curriculum The middle school program follows the same core academic curriculum--no exploratory classes or P.E.
