We are succeeding in doing so. VISION RECRUITMENT: The Overhead With the concept of making this crew an investment in the future of the organization, we pursue people that wish to make a positive impact in the way things are done. Those selected to fill the overhead positions on the crew begin their investment by developing a vision statement. Questions are asked such as: “What do we want this crew to be?”, “What don’t we want it to be?”, “How do we want to impact the fire organization, and how do we want the crew to be viewed by others?” and “If we could change anything about the development and experiences we have had during our careers in wild
