Touch screen doesnt work after upgrading to Windows 8 Follow these steps if you upgraded to Windows 8 from a previous Windows operating system and your touch screen stopped working: Activate Windows 8 and install updates: On the Windows Start screen, type Activate Windows to open the Search charm, and then select Activate Windows.
