My major duty is to facilitate access of the library resources including those not owned by our libraries! I am in charge of collection development, which is about anticipating information needs and working with faculty members and students as partners to identify curriculum and research directions to build relevant collections. ;As Systems Librarian, I am responsible for the various library IT projects and the staff to create them. My major responsibility is to manage our Chinese e-resources cataloging projects. A system by which material such as books or articles may be obtained from another library. Loans usually take about 2-3 weeks to complete.
