China) Abstract, Objectlve To investigate the needs of c1inical competency training among different level nursing students , and to provide information for clinícal teachers to train students clinical competence effectively. Methods A selfmade questionnaire of clinical com- petency training needs was used to investígate 76 undergraduate nursing students and 53 juníor college students. Results Nursing students at different levels had different traíning needs of clinical nursing ability，∞mmunicatíon and collaboration skills. nursing research capacíty and professional quality. and the differences were sígnificant, the total scores in both groups were significantly different. t∞(PO. 05 ,P0. 01). The undergraduate nursing students urged to receive training on emergency response capabili- ties , specialized caring. and rescue collaboration, etcI the junior college nursíng students urged to receíve training on specíalized 侃 ring , legal issues in nursing , and fundamental nursing skills. etc. Concluslon DiHerent levels of nursing students have different clinical competenc沪training needs.
