Lesson Plan of Unit 6 I’m more outgoing than my sister Section A 3A---4(第3课时) 一、教材内容分析 This period is the third period in this unit. It is about communication practice. The topic is the similarities and the differences. The function is comparing the people and telling the similarities and the differences. In this period students will read an article, they will have the chances to use the target language “The Comparative Degree of Adjectives” to compare persons and things. 二、教学目标 1. Students will be able to master the key words and expressions, such as: as,way, in common, be good at, physics, however, both, more than, hers and so on. 2. Students will be able to use the useful structures, such as, “ in some ways we look the same, and in some ways we look different.” “ We both have black hair and black eyes.” “ Liu Ying is not good at sports as her sister.” “ She is more outgoing and I am quieter.” 3. Students will be able to use comparatives of the adjectives to compare the personal traits and make the judgments. 4. This content is close to the students’ life. It will arouse their special attention and encourage them to be interested in learning English and expressing themselves.
