Abstract—The research described in this paper is concerned with estimating link time delay of urban signalized intersection from
traffic data that collected by existing floating vehicles in city. The propose of the paper is to get rid of the tradition method, and
proposed a new method to estimated delay using the floating vehicle data. The delay process at signalized intersection is mainly
analyzed, the range and the Expedite travel speed of the signalized intersection is defined. The paper proposes a solution to estimate
intersection delay by a road traffic information and traffic detective data from GPS equipped floating vehicle based on spatial data
analyse. At last, the paper validates the method based on the real data. The results indicate that the calculate accuracy of the method is
not difference due to the road grade which based on the map matched; a 3 seconds interval of the floating car is satisfied the
requirements of the delay estimate.

摘 要 针对目前城市中现有的 GPS 浮动车研究城市信号交叉口的延误估计,目的在于摆脱传统计算方法,提出一套利用浮动车
检测数据估计信号交叉口延误的新方法。
