adjustment tool from the
transducer horn.;TRANSDUCER HORN HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT;Procedure:; Tighten the four bond force assembly fixing screws and recheck the horn height.; Unscrew the two height adjustment screws until their pressure on the bracket is removed.; EFO SOLENOID REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE; Using the 0.87mm Allen key, loosen the plunger head fixing screw, and remove all the component parts comprising the solenoid plunger.;Solenoid;EFO ELECTRODE SPRING FORCE ADJUSTMENT;Procedure: ; Using the gram gauge, gently move the electrode arm to the left until it touches the stroke limiter pad located on the left inner face of the EFO assembly. The gram gauge should read between 160 and 170 grams. ;EFO ELECTRODE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT; Reposition the assembly to obtain the distance
of 0.3mm between the electrode and the
downholder clamp. ;EFO ELECTRODE HOME POSITION ADJUSTMENT ; While observing through the microscope, reposition
the electrode against the feeler to set the gap
at 0.6mm.Tighten the two fixing screws. ;EFO ELECTRODE Y-POSITION ADJUSTMENT; With the aid of pliers or other suitable tool, carefully bend the electrode to obtain the estimated angle required to centralize the capillary above the blade.;If not center, repeat step 1- 4;WIRE CLAMP JAW GAP CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT;Procedure:; If incorrect, insert 1.27mm Allen key into the jaw gap adjusting screw.;Press the wire clamp open/closed soft key to open and close the clamp jaws several times. Check that the jaw gap remains 0.09mm.
;WIRE CLAMP FORCE ADJUSTMENT; Adjust the force fine adjustment screw in small increments, clockwise or
counter-clockwise as necessary, until the force reading on the gram gauge
is 50 grams
