It was in this context that the food safety issue has been referred to an unprecedented height. Problems leading to food safety are as follows: 1) using poor quality raw materials in the food manufacturing process; 2) adding toxic substances（有毒物质）; 3) excessive use of food additives（食品添加剂）; 4) abusing of chemical additives and so on. There are many reasons that cause this problem. It is regulators, producers, and even consumers who share the responsibilities. As Confucius instructed: better late than never.
