案例展示一 【案例信息】 案例名称:上海外语教育出版社《展望未来》第一册初中一年级下 Unit 5 Place to live (第一课时) 授课教师:黄爱华(北京师范大学第二附属中学,中教二级) 【教学设计】 【 教材 】 Unit 5 Place to live Part1 Eldon House, a hostel ( 展望未来 Book1) 【 授课年级 】 初一年级下 【 教学设计 】 本节课围绕帮助 Bobby 旅游找住宿这一情景,教授有关 hostel 的设施词汇,以及在帮助 Bobby 找住所过程中用到的一些短语,并通过设置小组任务使学生能够将所学到的词汇,短语学以致用。通过提问,探究, pair work 和 group work 促进学生自主学习的能力。 【 教学目标 】 Objectives: In today’s lesson, students will be able to: find out what a hostel is and the differences between a hostel and a hotel. tell the English names for the facilities of a hostel. describe the hostel facilities with: It has got… help Bobby, the main figure of the lesson, achieve the goals he wants. 【教学过程】 Procedures and purposes Procedures (教学过程)Teacher’s activities ( 教师活动 )Students’ activities (学生活动)Teaching purposes (目的)? Lead-in 2’Show a video clip about a person who finds a place to live. Watch the video clip and find out what the person is doing. To arouse students’ interest.Ask students to put the letters together to get the topic of the lesson. Try to guess the word: accommodation To lead students into the topic. ? Stage1: Brainstorm 1’Help students understand what accommodation means. Elicit ways of accommodation. Try to think of the meaning and ways of accommodation when people go traveling. Possible answer: hotel, caravan, tent, local family’s home To lead students to find out ways of accommodation for later use. Stage2: Help Bobby find a place to live (1) 3’ Present the main figure of the lesson: Bobby and where he wants to travel. Help students to know backpack, backpacker. Get to know Bobby and the place he wants to go to by the information provided. 附( 3 ) Understand backpack backpacker To get students to know about Bobby. Stage2: (2) 3’Elicit HOSTEL by helping students find differences between a hotel and a hostel. ?
