Method The sampling survey was carried out by questionnaire to investigate the clinical application of therapies of fire-needle and bloodletting by acupuncturists from 16 hospitals in Beijing. The outcomes were calculated and analysed. Result Among the acupuncturists 23.0% of them often used the therapy of fire-needle， and 44.3% of them used the therapy of bloodletting frequently. Conclusion It is not common that the therapies of fire-needle and bloodletting are used in clinic， and it is necessary to find out the cause.
