1) The Cassini-Huygens space probe has sent back photos of Saturn’s rings viewed in ultraviolet light as well as photos of some of Saturn’s moons.

3) The probe was launched in 1997 and its mission was to explore the “gas giant” planet which is the furthest planet to be seen from the Earth without a telescope.
