It is said that he drowned when he fell into a river while trying to take hold of the reflection of the Moon. 据说他在试图捉月亮的影子时掉进江里溺水而亡。 （1）本句为复合句。It is said that. . . 表示“据说……”, it是形式主语，真正的主语是that引导的从句。具有这种句型结构的还有：It is reported/believed/hoped/suggested/estimated that. . . ，意为“据报道/人们相信/人们希望/有人建议/据估计……”。;（2）句中while trying to take hold of the reflection of the Moon是时间状语从句while he was trying to take hold of the reflection of the Moon的省略形式。 英语中，在以when, while, if, as if, though, although, even though/if, as, once等连词引导的时间、原因、条件、方式、让步等状语从句中，常省略和主句相同的主语及be动词，而保留现在分词，过去分词，介词短语或不定式等。;2. If only people could see me inside. 要是人们能够看到我的内心世界就好了。 If only 要是……就好了；但愿，是一个固定句型，常用来引导虚拟语气的条件状语从句或感叹句。;3. . . . but the best way to view the poems is to see them yourself, on whichever train you choose, in every zone of the network— for the price of an underground ticket. 但是要查看这些诗最好的办法就是亲眼看到它们，在你选择乘坐的任何火车上，在城市交通网络的任何一个区内——代价是一张地铁票。;whichever train you choose是介词on的宾语从句。whichever无论哪个；无论哪些，可以引导宾语从句，主语从句，状语从句等。但是要注意：此用法的whichever必须同被修饰的词一起放在从句前引导从句。;
