As the development of technology, almost every family has a television now, and there has been much discussion through these years about whether the advantages of this development outweigh its disadvantages or not. As far as I am concerned, I prefer the former one. Firstly, the development of television really does help in the sale of products. As we know, many producers tend to have advertisements through TV programs; some of them even support the programs to show the audiences their logo. The advertisements can always show the function and the advantages of the products, which encourages customs to do more shopping. Secondly, the development of television solves the employment issues. Nowadays, it is a grave situation that many people does not have employment and they cannot afford the money to live as well. However, as the increasingly requirement of television, more and more factories are built to produce the television, and these factories can afford a large number of opportunities to work for the people who don’t have jobs. Last but not the least, televisions release much information about the society. We can get all kinds of news from it, sometimes we can even know the abroad news as well. Though I support that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, some people hold the opposite point. They think that television will do a bad influence in students’ study, because many students enjoy watching TV instead of finishing their homework in time. But I can’t agree with them. I believe that watching TV can help students to release their pressure get from school life. Many good TV programs can even extent their horizon. On balance, I still believe the advantages of TV development outweigh the disadvantages. As long as we can choose the correct programs to watch, televisions can lead to a better life. 修改人：何东川
