With the theme of “Bring back the blue sky and white clouds”, a class meeting hosted by our monitor Wang Tao was held in the Meeting Hall among all the teachers and students of Class 3, Senior3 during the 3rd class on the afternoon of Jan. 5, 2014. The activity aimed to get the students informed of the fact of the increasingly serious hazy weather and raise our awareness of environmental protection. In the class meeting, the PPT was used to present some pictures and related survey results, which show that air pollution in China causes about 250,000 early deaths per year and tens of thousands of children’ s health may get threatened. Then, we discussed in groups about how to deal with air pollution and then, our head teacher gave some comments. It is the meeting that makes us aware of the importance of clean air and determine to help fight against air pollution. In the school meeting hall during the third class on the afternoon of Jan. 5th 2014, we, all the students and teachers in Senior 3 Class 3, held a class meeting, whose subject is giving back the blue sky and white clouds.
