2014-2015学年第一学期《高级英语1》教学计划 本学期拟讲授6个单元(3至3周半结束一单元)： Lesson 1 Camille Lesson 2 Hiroshima Lesson 3 Blackmail Lesson 4 Trial Lesson 5 Libido Lesson14 Speech 课程成绩评定方法： 课程成绩100% = 平时成绩（40%）+ 期末卷面成绩（60%） 平时成绩组成（占课程总成绩的40%）: Presentation 10% Book Report (1 Piece) 10% Compositions 10% Dictation 20% Exercise 10% Performance in class 10% 考勤 10% 作业 20%（平均每单元一次书面作业,最后一单元不处理练习。） 注： 不提供教学PPT Presentation： 每周两次，1人/节，每周共2人次； 顺序按照班级花名册，时间为5分钟/人。 要求脱稿（允许tip card），不得使用PPT；Presentation展示提前至少一天将电子稿发送至教师邮箱（作为评分依据） 1 Book Report 考勤： 每缺勤一次扣2分（事假、病假等各类请假，需提交有辅导员签字或相关部门印章的假条，任课教师无权准假）； 缺课累计1/3学期取消期末考试资格，但保留平时成绩。 附录：Guidelines for Book Report Guidelines for Book Report Your report must be about a full length book of at least 150 pages long (not collections of short stories, poems, or magazines). You cannot do book reports on the same books you did in other courses. Try to read at least half an hour every day.. Book reports must be typed. Submit them (both the printout and the digital file) four weeks before the end of the term. Any form of plagiarism is not acceptable. Anyone caught cheating or copying will get an F. Book reports are to be completed using the format that follows. Your full name (First AND Last name) The complete title of the book. The full name of the author of the book. The number of pages in the book. Suggestions on what to cover in your book reports: A complete description of what the book is about; The author’s thesis and major supporting arguments; The literary qualities of the book; If you have read other books on the same general topic, 1) make a comparison between them; 2) how does the interpretation (thesis) of this book differ from that of others? Book Options: You may choose any book from the following list or any book over 150 pages.
