The author from the following aspects of professional tourism management in colleges and universities to conduct a number of practical teaching to explore. 1 Tourism Management Practical Teaching Status 1.1 Misunderstanding practical teaching knowledge of the existence 1.1.1 many tourist institutions, teachers feel that the university encourages the emergence of managed staff or research staff, this understanding led to a lot of students think that their graduation is on the manager, very difficult to correct attitude towards learning in the course of practice. 1.1.2 Many institutions that arranged for the placement is equivalent to the completion of the practical teaching. However, the internship can only solve the hands-on practical teaching ability, but can not solve the students understanding of the nature tourism industry. What’s worse, the majority of the professional practice of tourism activity is to the hotel or travel agency out “coolies” unilateral coercive practice not only affects the desired effects, but also reduces the tourism management students of professional recognition.
