The rapid development of computer technology and the growing popularity of computer applications, making computer education colleges and universities are facing enormous challenges, especially the merger of undergraduate institutions, faced with the situation even more complicated, in my school, for example, and merged into Luoyang Luoyang University Institute of Technology, before the non-computer science undergraduate course offered is “Computer Culture”, and set up specialist expertise is “Fundamentals of Computer Application”, lesson plans and teaching the content of their different, with more professional towards undergraduate level, the merger undergraduate institutions in respect of “computer culture-based” teaching of this course imperative to reform [1] . In this paper, the teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching models and methods and means to analyze the status quo, give full consideration to the resource advantages of merging sub-institutions, and put forward effective and feasible reform options.
