Abstract This paper discusses the current Computer-based teaching reform in the direction on how to improve teaching effectiveness, to develop students proficiency, the university made a number of computer teaching models to explore practical ways. From the teaching objectives, the guiding ideology of reform, new teaching models discussed several aspects of the composition of new teaching models and reform, striving to improve the quality of teaching basic computer courses and teaching effectiveness.

Basic computer education in our country from scratch, from the point to a plane, from a small number of the first practice of science and engineering professional development to all colleges and universities have generally set up the non-computer science related courses, computer education has been a great development.
