Curriculum evaluation of the status quo problems and prospects Abstract: Course evaluation is an important issue in curriculum reform. At present, China’s course evaluation is mainly as follows: The curriculum reform, before the beginning of a needs assessment; the curriculum standards of the pre-assessment and revision of evaluation; depth evaluation studies textbooks; curriculum implementation of evaluation. Through examination and reflection on the evaluation of these courses, the current curriculum evaluation still exist, such as a broad understanding of curriculum evaluation, the lack of systematic curriculum evaluation organizations, local and school level curriculum evaluation missing, too much emphasis on the evaluation of administrative sense, and so on. To address these issues, prompting the sound development of the curriculum reform to improve the overall quality of courses, the future of the curriculum evaluation work needed to further strengthen the theory of curriculum evaluation research, strengthening of local school level in particular, curriculum evaluation, curriculum evaluation criteria to establish an effective and reasonable courses evaluation mechanism to strengthen the curriculum evaluation in the process of dialogue and consultation. At present, curriculum evaluation in our country mainly includes the following aspects: the demand evaluation before curriculum reform; the pre-evaluation and revised assessment on curriculum standards; the profound assessment on teaching materials and; the evaluation on curriculum implementation.
