Database Theory and Application of Research and Practice of Teaching Reform

Abstract: “Database Principles and Applications” Teaching in the process of status quo and existing theory and practice out of touch, not enough emphasis on practice teaching, teaching practice contrary to the principles of engineering, teaching methods and means of the lack of diversity, teaching materials selected unreasonable , examination system followed the traditional exam-oriented models and many other issues. Optimizing the teaching content, teaching methods, teaching methods, teaching content, teaching methods, practical aspects, assessment methods, organization and management aspects of the teaching reform study proposed a set of corresponding teaching reform measures, and achieve better results .

Abstract: Analyzed current situation of the teaching of the courses of Database Principle and Applications. It is held that there exist many problems in the teaching process. For example, the theory is separated from the social needs, practice teaching tache is not thought much of , the teaching practice runs against the engineering principle, the teaching methods and measures are far from diversified, teaching materials is reasonless and the checking system stresses too much on examinations. In respect to these problems, the measures to researchthe teaching of the course are proposed from the perspectives of optimizing teaching contents, teaching methods, teaching measures, practice teaching, checking methods and organizing and managing of the course. Finally the paper brings forward a suit of the measures of corresponding teaching reformation and we obtain the better effect.
