METHODS ：According to the checking table of common drug compatibility by Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children ，the drug incompatibility check- er was developed using the Excel-based functions and VBA programming language ，and it was compared with drug incompatibility cheched by checking table of common drug compatibility. RESULTS CONCLUSIONS ：The result calculated by the checker is consistent with checking table of common drug compatibility. The interface of the spreadsheet program is simple and clear ，and it is a quick way for pharmacists in dispensing department ，nurses and physicians in clinical department to inquire drug incompatibility.
