When designing and 11 analyzing ICT systems, it is vital to consider the topology of network components. 12 Telecommunication network structure can be described by a graph. Computing modes 13 or specialized computers are the vertexes and the edges are bi-directional, independent 14 transmission channels that represent the connected nodes. The algorithm is potentially 15 useful for the determination of the impact of diameter and an average path length of the 16 chordal rings on the properties of the transmission network. It is also useful for the 17 indications of alternate paths in the event of node or link failure. Two types of tests 18 were conducted. First of them is realized by the HTTP protocol, second by the SSIM 19 method. The obtained results confirmed that this parameters are decisive in the flow 20 capacity and delaying the transferred data. 21 Key words: Network, information systems, chorda
