DataCare IP Telephony Manager Maintenance Upgrade Procedures 07/01/04 DataCare IP Telephony Manager also known as DataCare Silver or DataCare Gold, is an upgrade to standard DataCare is an enhanced maintenance offering that supports the Cisco AVVID IP Telephony application includes Onsite DataCare plus a Suite of Managed Service Offerings Product Codes The MTC product codes for DataCare IP Telephony Manager are listed in the chart below. When selling DataCare IP Telephony Manager, these codes will replace the DataCare code for each service offering. With the exception of Cisco IP telephones, the appropriate IP Telephony Manager code (Silver or Gold) must be placed on all components that DataCare can be placed on. Service DataCare Silver Gold DataCare 8X5X NBD Onsite DCARED DDIPTS DDIPTG DataCare 8X5X4 SBD Onsite DCAREE DEIPTS DEIPTG DataCare 7X24X4 Onsite DCAREF DFIPTS DFIPTG Maintenance Upgrades DataCare IP Telephony Manager will follow the standard maintenance upgrade procedures (cancel old and issue new). The CSC will wait until contract mgmt has approved the handoff package before any work is done. There are two possible scenarios for Maintenance Upgrades to IP Telephony Manager: 1) The first is when a customer currently has Onsite DataCare and they simply want to upgrade to the same Onsite DataCare IP Telephony Manager. For example a customer could currently have DataCare 8X5XNBD (DCARED) and they want to upgrade to DataCare IP Telephony Manager 8X5XNBD Silver (DDIPTS). If the customer does not change the “flavor” of Onsite DataCare, then the customer may be upgraded using the following procedures: DataCare to DataCare IP Telephony Manager Sales Procedures: Sales will obtain a new customer Statement of Work document to replace the existing SOW (DataCare IP Telephony Manager SOW) Sales will produce a new quote to reflect the upgraded coverage on all devices at the customer site which carry telephony traffic (all routers, switches, gatewa
