ⅰ. Annotation (加注) Due to social and cultural differences, some English meanings don’t exist in Chinese language. In such situation, annotation is usually necessary to translate E-C. (正) Buy one, get one free. ⅱ.Paraphrase (释义) Paraphrase refers to giving up the original expression manner, and taking interpretative approach to do translation.
