Based on the new technology acceptance theory represented by UTAUT ，and in combination with the related theories in aca- demic communication (including the functional theory of the academic communication system ，the subject interactive theory in academic communication and the disciplinary difference theory)，this paper constructs a theory model of influence factors which promotes scientific research personnel to accept OA repositories or hinders them from accep- ting them. Although the theory model is applicable in deducing existing theories ，its validity is to be testified by em- pirical studies.
