When my first childrens book was published in 2001, I returned to my old elementary school to talk to the students about being an author and an illustrator, and when I was setting up my slide projector in the cafetorium, I looked across the room, and there she was: my old lunch lady. 当我的第一本儿童书 在2001年出版时 我回到了过去读小学的学校，与那里的学生们交流成为一名作家 与插画家的经历，当我在食堂里，布置幻灯片投影仪时 在房间的另一头，我看到了她 那位熟悉的食堂大妈.
