Altium信号完整性分析创新
* Purpose of slide The purpose of this slide is to demonstrate our technology leadership (which is unparallel in the EDA industry) and our commitment to ensuring Altium customers remain at the forefront of innovation. The main message being that despite our size in comparison to larger design tool vendors, we have consistently outmaneuvered them to be the first to deliver breakthrough technology. Ultimately Altium customers are the main beneficiaries of this. Narrative notes “Altium’s demonstrated track record of advances in electronics design…” Altium has a long and proven history as a leader of technology innovation in the electronics industry. The company rose to prominence when it released the first PCB design system developed specifically for the Windows operating system (1991). At the time this was seen as a premature move – Windows had not yet established itself as a dominant platform and was not considered a suitable environment for electronics design systems. Altium believed, however, that the benefits that Windows brought to the PC desktop would see it quickly adopted and embraced as the operating system of choice, even within the electronics design community. Turning this conviction into a landmark design system allowed our customers to future-proof their design tool investment and gain immediate benefits from an integrated and user-friendly ( much lower cost!) operating environment. In subsequent years it built on its technology base and introduced the first fully integrated, end-to-end board-level design system that incorporated all the technologies needed for complete board-level design capture and implementation in a single integrated application. Foreseeing the need for integrated electronics design tools and technologies, Altium set out to build a solid foundation for its technology when it developed its own unique technology integration platform known today as DXP (formerly Design Explorer).
