A s a comprehensive safety evaluation method, AHP(AnalyticH ierarchy Process) has been used in vari ous fields of safety science. In th is paper, emergency managem ent capab ilities of work safety and its evaluation re quirementsw ere introduced. The status of em ergency response capab ilities in dom estic and internationalw ere ana lyzed. The general ideas of establish ing the evaluation system in industry and enterprises w ere presented. The methods of establish ing ind icators set and the projects of evaluation model based on comprehensive FAHP( the fuzzy analytic h ierarchy process) w ere discussed. The evaluation methods of emergency management capacity w ere pre lmi inarily established.
