Method: The rate of paeonol inclusion as index to study the advantages and disadvantages of two inclusion method, including saturated water solution method and rubbing method. In order to optimize the procedure, the effect of different lapping water volume, the proportion of β-CD, paeonol and volatile oil, lapping time and ethanol rinsing volume on the inclusion rate of paeonol were researched by orthogonal experiment design( 4 factors and 3 levels) . Using the content of paeonol as the standard, the paeonol inclusion rate was determined by HPLC. Results : The optimal inclusion procedure were as follows: the proportion of β- cyclodextrin and paeonol and Volatile Oil is 8:0.4:0.5, the proportion of β- cyclodextrinand water is 3: 1,the grinding time 2 hours, rinsing volume of dehydrate ethanol 5mL. Conclusion:The advantages of this method were high rate of inclusion, easy for magnanimous contraction and industrial production. Key words：orthogonal test; β-cyclodextrin; paeonol; volatile oil; clathrate 益气补肾活血胶囊是治疗认知功能障碍的复方新药，处方是由“人参、石菖蒲、牡丹皮、 三七”等七味药组成。目前中医学者们将认知功能障碍归属于“健忘”、“善忘”的范畴。当前研究表明，认为轻度认知障碍与以往研究者对老年痴呆病因病机的认识相似，本病以脏腑虚衰、肾心亏虚为本，痰浊血瘀为标。有众多学者采用补肾益心、健脾益气、祛痰活血通络等方药及针刺治疗[1]，本处方也是针对这几方面进行治疗。根据文献报道[2-3]，石菖蒲中的挥发油和牡丹皮中的丹皮酚对认知功能障碍有治疗作用，是治疗的有效部位或有效成分。临床广泛用于癫病、痰厥、热病神昏、健忘、中风失语、耳鸣、老年性痴呆等疑难病症[4]。 石菖蒲挥发油和丹皮酚易挥发，常规的水煎工艺会导致其损失，为了更好地发挥其药效作用，本实验将处方中石菖蒲提取挥发油的工艺和牡丹皮提取
