These words are called Sino-Vietnamese words. Sino-Vietnamese is a vital part of Vietnamese vocabulary, accounting for about 60% -70% .Since these Chinese words were introduced to Vietnam, some of them have kept their original meaning, while some have extended, reduced or changed their meaning during the process of evolution. Therefore, the meaning and usage of these words should be attached to great importance for better Chinese and Vietnamese translation. Through brief introduction to the meanings and evolution of Sino-Vietnamese words, this thesis analyses the influence of these words imposed on Chinese and Vietnamese translation, and proposes some targeted teaching methods in the teaching of Chinese and Vietnamese translation. 〔Key words 〕Sino-Vietnamese words; Chinese and Vietnamese translation; influence 越南与中国山水相连，两国人民在各个方面的
