Ltd , Shenzhen 518000, China) Abstract The creep of artificially frozen soil is a complex and nonlinear mechanical process, in which the strain and stress of the soil body are all functions of time, changing with the time. Based on the properties of frozen soil and it’s constitutive equations, and the discretization of time and spatial domain as well ,the time increment-based equations have been obtained in this paper. A practical example have also been anlaysized by the program ANSYS. The FEM solutions and it’s comparison with analytic results and measured data indicates that numerical analysis by program ANSYS can simulate the creep process of artificial frozen soil, further revealing the deformation law of ice wall and verify the mathematic creep model of frozen soil, thus to solve engineering problems economically.
