Good morning,everyone! I ‘m honored to be told to have this leture here. As a training for senior English teachers,I really dont know what is to be talked and explained this time for our training,just because u a all teachers. U know how to prepare and have ur lesson; u know ur ss; u know sound,words and u know grammar. For a long time,we have been trained to have our leson based on ss,which is called new idea. That is, ss are the centre either in or out of class when we do everything in teaching. But our ss are very passive and not always ready and happy in learning. They dont like learning,especially they dont like learning English. They are afraid to remember new words.They are afraid to understand and memorize Grammmar. They dont know what is grammar.They dont know what kind of and how many senior English grammatical rules include. So today,I’d like to share two of my findings in my teaching for senior ss in grammar and reading. Verbs and reading comprehension will be both presented and discussed in the way of Timothy,who is here with all of u. I deeply know what I will explain is what u all r familiar with. I only hope u can grasp sth from my studying ,searching, and summarizing grammar ,from my helping ss understanding passages so that what u explain in class a easy to be mastered by ur ss and I hope this kind of methods will also be widely used by all of u in ur teaching.
