Owing to the unascertained and incom plete information of relative factors ,it was almost a grey system. A grey relation proj ection model for eco - environment quality evaluation was estab lished based on grey system theory and vector proj ection principle ,on the premise that an indices system for eco - environment quality evaluation was established. This model was used to assess the eco - environment qualities of Sichuan Province of the past 3 years , the result showed that the eco - environment quality of Sichuan Province was improved to a certain extent since the beginning of eco - province construction ,but there was still room for further improvement .
