The development of rapid propagation methods for C. nutans is needed to satisf humandemandforitsmedicinalproducts.Thisstud developedapraticaltissueculturemicropropagationtechnique forC.nutansb shootinitiationinsteadofcallusinduction.Theresultsshowedtheoptimalproliferationmediumfor -1 -1 C.nutanswasMurashigeandSkoog(MS)with 1.0mgL BA+0.02mgL NAAproviding3.9multiplicationrate. -1 A rooting medium composed of ½MS + 0.25mg L IBAprovided 100%rooting andvigourous plantlets.These methodsprovidereliablemass-propagationofC.nutansformedicinalpurposes.
