W ithout the lmi itations of traditional instruments, such as low precision, lmi itedmeasuringpoints and difficulty of data processing, this system provides 16 channels ofmaxmi um 40kHz sampling frequency tomonitor temperature field. The sampling error of the system is less than 0. 2% and the run tmi e of it is lmi itless except deficient storage space of computer hard disk, which enables the system to automatically record the temperature field accurately in industrial condition for a long tmi e. This system is applied to testing the solidification process of a heavy section ductile iron casting, w ith 12000 s re- corded and 72000 precise temperature data obtained, which willbehelpful for quality controlof castings.
