M ethods 　The clotting time , aolin par- , , tial thromhoplastic time thrombin time were determined and the level of plasma fibrino- . R es ul ts 　 , - gen measured In vitro this thrombin li e enzyme from Deinag istrodon venom ccould directly coagulate plasma and adsorbed plasma, w ith dose-effect relationship. A T- + 2- Ⅲor heparin did not affect such enhancing coagulation effect . Na inhibited, but Ca . , - Strengthened such enhancing effect In vivo this thromhin li e enzyme could promote co- agulation through both intrinsic and extrinsic pathways.
