Abstract Objecti e T o e plore the e pression and regulation role of
microRN A206( miR206) and conne in 43 ( C 43) in primary breast tumours ( PT s)
and metastatic lymph nodes ( M LN s) . Methods Eight patients of pathologically
confirmed infiltrating duct carcinoma of the breast w er e enrolled. Pericancer nor mal
tissues, primary br east tumors ( PTs) , paired normal a illary lymph nodes ( NLNs)
and pair ed metastatic lymph nodes ( MLNs) w ere obtained fr om the resected tumor s of
the patients. The e pressions of mRNA and protein of miR206 and C 43 in
per icancer normal tissue, PT s, NLNs and M LNs w ere tested using realtime PCR and
Western blot techniques. Comparison betw een groups w as performed using one w ay
analy sis of var iances and SNK or LSD test . Results Compared w ith the normal breast
tissues, the mRN A e pression of miR206 in PTs and NLNs decreased significantly,
and it further decreased in M LNs compar ed w ith PTs and NLNs ( P 0. 05) . The
