Language Focus 英语中的数词分为两类：表示数目的基数词和表示顺序的序数词。一般在基数词词尾加-th即构成序数词，但有部分序数词有特殊变化，如：first (1st)、second (2nd)、third (3rd)、twelfth (12th)等等。英语中hundred（百）、thousand（千）等用作计数单位时不用复数形式，如：three hundred students, two thousand old people；但当它们用来表示不定数量时，要用复数形式，如：hundreds of books, thousands of people等。 基数词的写法 1. 21～99 的两位数，十位与个位之间用连字符“-”。例： 21 twenty-one 32 thirty-two IV.
