Abstract: Original posit ion statistic distr ibution analysis is a new analytical method to determine the quantitative distri-
bution of differ ent chemical compositions and its states on larg e scope of material. A new quantitative metal orig inal posi-
tion analy er has been invented based o n the analysis technology of single discharge analysis and continuous scanning ex-
citement spark spectrum wit hout pre-burn. T his technology can be used effectively to analy e the orig inal position statistic
distr ibut ion of metals. T he following new infor mation of the mater ials can be obtained, for ex ample, the quant itative
stat istic distribution of contents of v ar ious elements on the deferent positions in materials; accurate calculat ion of the segre-
gation of various elements in mater ial; the quantitative descr iption of the ho mog eneity of mater ial) the quantitative statis-
tic distribution of mass in deferent contents of the element in total ex citement sig nals of material; statistic ho mog eneity,
stat istic segregation and statistic porosity in material; the quantitative statistic distr ibution of i
