Joy pulsated through me as I looked around, a large crowd of people, stood in front of a brilliant, ornate gate. They rushed toward me, and every person was smil- ing, shouting, and praising God. Intuitively, I know they were my celestial welcoming com- mittee. The first person I recognized was my grandfather, with white hair and a big banana nose, exactly as I remember him. A grin covered his face, “Donnie”, he called my name, em- braced me holding me tightly. As I stared into his face, an enormous bliss overwhelmed me. I was so happy about our reunion. The crowd surrounded me, some hugged me, some kissed my cheek, while others pumped my hand. Never had I felt more loved. …. Then we all started move toward the gate. Coming out from the gate was a brilliance that was brighter than the light that surrounded. As we moved closer, the light intensified, and I had the sense that I was being ushered into the presence of God. A holy awe came over me. The
