The content then presents itself to abstract lyricism and theliterary practice that proceeds from the abstract lyricism. This principle of literary autonomy is a departure from the function of new literature that conveys the Dao. Therefore, the literature idea of Shen ong2wen ac2 cordingly shows themultiple contradictions, including his understanding of actual literary policy and his affirma2 tion of the independent emotional revelation. Thus his literature idea is determined to inappropriateto the occa2 sion. And all of this could be regarded as the loneliness of Shen ongwen. s literatur
