Abstract Scholars had explored the relationship between perceived social support and mental health and the relationship between self-concept and mental health. These studies suggest that perceived social support and self-concept are two important factors to mental health. But until now, few scholars have explored the relationship among them. On the basis of previous studies, we expect to further explore the specific relationship among perceived social support 、 self-concept and mental health . In order to close to the essence of them ,using Perceived social support scale(PSSS)、Song-Hattie scale of self-concept and Symptom Checklist 90(SCl-90),we surveyed 845 students from grade seven to junior and then used the SPSS17.0 to analysis the dates we got, we will give the result at the following article. The result suggests that perceived social support has an impact on the mental health in two ways: direct way - Perceived Social Support direct impact on the mental health; indirect way - -perceived social support has an impact on the mental health by affecting the individuals self-concept. Therefore, we conclude the specific relationship among perceived social support 、self-concept and mental health: Perceived social support have an impact on the mental health through the intermediary role of self-concept. Also, we analyze the mean scores of all the grades and get changing trends of the scores of the students from grade seven to junior, the result as following: 1. From Grade seven to Grade ten, the scores of PSSS have a declining trend; and from Grade ten to junior, the scores of PSSS have a rising trend. The turning point of scale is at Grade ten. 2.
