The course is divided into two sections. The first is medical immunology. The main contents are basic immunology. The second is medical microbiology, including bacteriology, virology and other microorganisms in three parts. Medical immunology is one of the fastest growing subjects. It has penetrated into every field of preclinical medicine and clinical medicine, and has formed a large number of branches and interdisciplinary subjects. Medical immunology is the science of studying the Constitution and function of human immune system, the law and effect of immune response, and the pathogenesis, diagnosis and prevention of disease. Medical microbiology is the study of biological characteristics, heredity and variation, pathogenicity and immunity, laboratory diagnosis and prevention principle of pathogenic microorganisms related to medicine. Medical immunology and microbiology is a required basic medicine course for clinical medical students. Its task is to enable students to master the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills of medical immunology and microbiology, and lay the foundation for studying other basic medical courses and clinical medicine courses.
