South China University of Technology press First, the nature and tasks of the course This course is an important professional course for undergraduates of inorganic materials in Institutions of higher learning at present Ceramic materials are developing very rapidly Ceramic materials refer to all other materials other than organic and metallic materials, i.e. inorganic non-metallic materials In nature Ceramic materials can be divided into modern ceramics (advanced ceramics) materials and traditional ceramic materials; from morphology, there are zero dimensional granular materials One dimensional fiber material, two-dimensional thin film material A three-dimensional body material; structurally divided Amorphous materials shall be included Single crystal materials and polycrystalline materials; and then from the use of points It can be divided into structural ceramic materials which mainly use their mechanical properties and other functional ceramics, in addition to mechanical properties, such as electricity, sound, magnetism, heat and optical properties The aims and tasks of this course are as follows: 1. To enable students to study through the course Obtain the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills of the necessary ceramic materials To understand the application of ceramic materials and the development of ceramic materials
