33 短期大学部幼児教育学専攻学生に対する幼児体育についての意識調査 板 谷 　 厚 Survey on the junior college students’ attitude toward the physical education for infants Atsushi ITAYA Abstract 　The purpose of this study was to investigate what the junior college students of the pre-school education specialty think about the PE taken in the kindergartens and nursery schools. In my questionnaire, the students were asked who teach PE and what is taught in PE. Analyses of the answers revealed that one-third of the student thought that only expert PE teachers should teach PE. Playing with balls was more preferred in the answers of the students who thought only expert PE teachers should teach PE than in those of the other students who thought only nursery teachers should teach PE. These results suggest that especially when the junior college students of the pre-school education of specialty will teach infants to play with balls, the students would require expertise in sports and physical activities.
