In this paper, the research and application status of ba boo pulp and paper technologywere su arized. Studies on low-pollution technology and existing proble swere elaborated ainly fro the view of cooking and bleaching processes. The relationship between ba boo pulp and paper perfor ance was analyzed. The progress of ba boo specialty paper research was discussed as well. These ay provide so e references for the vigorous develop ent of ba boo industry in China.
